Recycled plastic lumber is available in a wide variety of solid - square, circular and rectangular cross sections, extruded in lengths of up to 3 and 3.6 metres. The grained surface texture is often mistaken for a timber, which means that it blends well into an urban or countryside setting and being rot and maintenance free it reduces any subsequent potential material maintenance costs often required with traditional materials such as wood, metal and concrete
We have supplied our plastic lumber for boaldwalk construction on SSSI sites where it was chosen for its rot free and inert properties, it contains no harmful additives which could leach into the sensitive surroundings of such biodiverse areas and being extremely tolerant of the harsh climates of such as peat land and salt water, offers an immensely long lasting solution.
